Occupy responsibility

Police are finally clearning out some of the occupy camps full of marxist hippies blaming everyone else for their situation. It’s crazy that these protestors feel so entitled even though they pay little to no taxes and contribute nothing of value to society other than to remind us of what we don’t want our children to become. If they lived in reality or paid attention to Europe they might realize their socialist ideals don’t work so great in the real world. Paying taxes is part of being a grown-up in a free society. Don’t try to speak for the rest of us who aren’t part of the 1% but work our assess off just the same to take care of our obligations. Why should those who are successful be punished for their efforts by paying more taxes so you and your friends can enjoy subsidized everything as a reward for your laziness?

I have been poor through no fault but my own. I know what it’s like to scrape up your loose change to go buy some gas station hot dogs or even ask for the old ones they are going to throw out the night before payday. But that was because I lived beyond my means, made bad choices and didn’t work hard enough to earn the things I thought I deserved. So I worked harder, found a way to get through school so I could improve my position in life and do something I enjoyed. I’m still not where I want to be and live paycheck to paycheck, but I don’t blame anyone else for that. Who’s with me? I know this guy is.
